Focus: Events is a luxury white backdrop portrait experience designed for weddings, galas, private celebrations, and elevated corporate events.
Does Focus: Events replace our wedding photographer?
No. Focus: Events is designed to complement traditional wedding photography, not replace it. Your wedding photographer documents the ceremony, reception and story of the day, while Focus: Events provides a dedicated portrait experience for your guests. The two services have different roles and work naturally alongside one another.
What areas do you serve?
Focus: Events is based in The Woodlands and serves Houston and surrounding areas. Travel beyond the greater Houston area is available for select events and may include an additional travel fee. Contact us with your event location for availability and details.
How do guests receive their photographs?
Guests scan a unique QR code to register their email address after having their portrait taken, the gallery link is then sent to them via email.
How quickly are portraits delivered?
Your private online gallery is delivered to everyone who registered their email within 48 hours of the event.
Do you offer on-site printing?
No. All photos are delivered in a private online gallery with free downloads. Guests are offered the option to purchase prints through the gallery if they choose.
Is this a photo booth?
No. While it is interactive and guest-facing, it is not a traditional photo booth. The experience is built around professionally lit portraiture, refined direction, and a timeless visual style.
Is this the same as general event photography coverage?
No. Focus: Events is a dedicated portrait experience rather than traditional roaming coverage.
What types of events is this best for?
It works especially well for weddings, receptions, galas, black-tie events, private celebrations, and corporate events.
Why use a white backdrop?
The white backdrop creates a clean, timeless, high-end look that keeps the focus on the people and works beautifully with formalwear and upscale event design.
Will this fit the style of my event?
Yes. The experience is designed to feel elegant, minimal, and visually cohesive within elevated events.
Do guests need posing experience?
Not at all. Guests are guided in a relaxed, natural way to create polished portraits without making the process feel stiff or intimidating.
How much space is needed?
This depends on the venue and setup, but a clean dedicated portrait area of at least 10ft x 10ft is typically recommended for the best experience.
